This exhibition relates the conditions of human African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness) control in Haut-Nyong in Cameroon between 1925 and 1930.
The photographs were taken by Dr. Eugène Jamot himself (Jean-Marie Milleliri collection) and by one of his collaborators, Dr. Marcel Chambon (photos donated to the association by his son Christian Chambon).
In 1925, Eugène Jamot, the revered "boss", was 46 years old, Marcel Chambon, just out of the Pharo School in Marseille, 26 years old, and his wife Christiane, who would follow him everywhere in the field, 20 years old.
